I feel for you.. I really do. People really change when they are on drugs and they become someone completely different. If he cares at all he should know he is in serious jeapardy of losing his kid if the authorities find out he is up to no good like he is. Depending on how old you are... talk to your school counselors and seek advice there or even the police dept.. Call on our blessed mother for assistance and pray.. People only go downhill on that stuff and he can jeapardise himself, you and others around him.

My uncle has been in recovery from Meth and Heroin...pretty much everything in the book. He's been sober for over 5 years now.. and been in and out of rehabs his whole life for the past 20 years... He is a miracle.

All the best and prayers go out to you.. and good luck..

Serious intervention with him and the rest of his family and maybe his best friend. It's time for rehab, someone hopefully in the family has to take custody of his child. Meth, crack beer weed he has no control of himself, he's going under and he might not come back up unless everybody goes out there and helps him back up. This is a red alert emergency situation, everybody stop what their doing, get off the computer, turn the TV off time to get him HELP!!

Wow, that is a really bad situation. It definatally isn't good for the baby to be around that. Maybe he needs some tough love. Have you thought about turning him into the police? Have you thought about Rehab? If child protective services finds out that he is high and drunk around the baby, they may take the baby away.

Some people don't like to be told what to do, especially if they are on drugs. Interventions and counselling will not work, if they don't really care. Just call once in a while to say hello or meet for a coffee somewhere.

What should do is get on the phone or better yet face to face(when he's sober). Tell him your feelings and that his child deserves a loving father not a father that doesn't even acknowledge its existence. This isn't guarrented to work, but i guarentee that after you fininsh telling him your mind , you will have a great feeling inside you.

there is nothing you can do. i spent 10 years with a crack head, and every thing that i done to help him was a waste of time. if he is not tired of getting high then you just let him hit his rock bottom whatever that may be. you will be wasting time and energy trying to get him off of drugs yourself. pray for him and be there for his child. thats about all you can do

Nothing you can do will change him but what you don't do may help.
Don't do anything that will help him get high like giving him money or support when he deserves to pay the price for his behavior.
And tell him why you won't do it.

Hon unless he checkes himself into rehab there is nothing you or anyone else can do for him. Just keep him in your heart and in your prayers and watch your valuables if he is around.
