No, you have to have a drivers license or state issued ID. You only have to have a passport if you're going out of the country like Mexico or Canada or overseas.

You don't need a passport to go from state to state but the new law is you need a passport to go to Canada and Mexico as well as all the islands.

Absolutley FALSE. You need a passport now to fly into the US from Mexico or Canada.....but definetly not to travel from state to state. That's ridiculous.

no you dont but your passport makes a great ID anyway
as its a goverment document with you will need anyway..
so it doesnt hurt to use it as ID even fly in the states

Hi,,, no,, that is not right... if you leave this country,,,, and on your return you have to have a passport..... even if you are from America.... thats it.....
