I don't like those bumper stickers either. Around here they also put their child's name on the back of their van window along with all info. Ashley, cheerleader, and name of school or Bill with a cut-out of a football and the name of the school. This is a stupid thing to do because it's too much information for pedophiles and perverts. It just seems totally unsafe for the children.

I don't see what's wrong with a sticker that says "I'm proud of my son" or "I'm proud of my daughter", but when you push the "Honor student", "Cheerleader, or Athlete envelope, you have gone TOO far. It's the same thing of when parents buy their infants clothing that shows a sport on it with "Future Athlete" on it, or "Future Diva" ugh!...come on people! Why do you feel that THIS makes your child/children special??? This world we live in today is sick and so focused on superficial attitudes of what conjugates "Success". Grow up and be proud of your kids without adding the pressure on them to be "perfect". If your darling honor student does something wrong where she can't tell you because you have her name on the family van, don't blame her for her mistakes, you have put a huge amount of pressure on her. I agree with you on this 100% it makes my blood boil. Also have these parents thought about PEDOPHILES????

I just think its funny if the sticker is so old its peeling. The only sticker I have on my mini van is "I'm proud of my Cub Scout" (yes, I know I'm a dork). Other than that, I try not to sticker up my vehicle. I have 3 kids (and planning one more), so I have to drive a van. I figure that if you are going to sticker up your vehicle, at least make it an interesting read!

So slap me! I'm proud of the fact that my children are good students and nice little people.
Oh, and not all of us in minivans are soccer moms either. My boys play football and are straight A students in student council.
Ya wanna slap me? Go ahead, I don't fight like a girl.

I don't know why you'd want to "slap them"... that makes no sense to me why you'd even care if they had an honor student sticker on their vehicle. Jealous,,, or are you just being nasty?

Speaking as a mom, I'm happy for them that they are proud of their child.

You're a little too uptight. What would be funny is watching one of those soccer moms stomping your little punk *** right in the middle of the street, in front of God and everyone!! Now THAT would be worth watching.
