I think and I believe at least 90% of girls like to be told that they are liked- rather then going through a long game play of flirting and guessing. This is because if the girl feels the same way about you then the longer you leave asking her out or telling her that you like her- she will begin thinking that you dont like her.
The easiest way is to tell the girl face- to face rather than go through a middle person- this is because if the girl doesnt like you , then only you know not your best mate- who may or may not go and tell others.
However if you are shy or scared about being rejected or told that "We are best as friends" write the girl a letter expressign how you feel about her and what you like a bout her- but dont tell her you love her- she may think that your are obsessive or a weirdo.
So keep it simple, and remeber ask her out your self and not over a text!!!!!
