Sounds like you recognize your weaknesses - you need to work on them.

Your personality is fine if you are happy, and it is not fine if you are unhappy. In your case, it looks a lot like you have an imbalance in the chemicals that control mood, concentration, and feelings. You could be the poster child for a form a depression called dysthymia - which is a very low-grade, chronic form of depression. Most people that are dysthymic don't realize it. Look at this link and see if this fits your personality. If it does, its easy to change with a certain type of counseling, or antidepressants, or some combination of both.

Yes, you need to change a lot. First try to be among a group of people, may be your friends or parents or relatives or neighbors etc., Make as many friends as you can. Don't reinforce yourself with negative thoughts and words. Keep doing some work rather thinking about yourself too much.

If you couldn't do these by yourself, consult a behavior therapist. They will make you practice all these positive things through very good assignments.

All the best :-) :-)

The fact that you need someone else to tell you if you have a good personality shows that clearly you don't. One thing that makes personalitys vibrant is a belief in who they are and what their convictions are.

Call Britney Spears, there may still be some room left in her rehab group sessions. You can all sit around and tell each other how wonderful you are.

Um, this is a really hard question to answer, because we people on Yahoo_Answers don't know you. You are just giving us a brief description and small window of time into your life.

If you are concerned, make an appointment with a therapist. She will get to know you and your personality and will best be able to answer these questions.

I think you need some more confidence. Of course your personality is fine! It's what makes you, you! (I know I sound like an old adult, but it's true.) You should remember that change will happen if it is supposed to. If you need to change yourself, let the change happen, but don't force yourself to change. That's unfair. Love yourself but like you said don't be all up in yourself because you said you hate people like that.

Consider this: Is this the way you see yourself, or do other people see you this way (have you heard this from others)?
If the second, then you may need to learn how to lighten up (social skills) Don't take life so seriously, It's too short.

You're only human, I strongly suggest you seek counseling from a mental health professional about your weaknesses. Because you know they're there, and are willing to do something about it doesn't make you so bad at all. I hope my answer helps you, Good Luck.

Are you happy? If you are happy with who you are, then you don't need to make any changes.
If you are unhappy, you may benefit by talking to a doctor who can help you make healthy changes that can effect your personality.
