The person that I have feelings for is in a long-distance overseas engagement. We don't even have much in common at all. He's not that mature. He's 25, I'm 24. I'm black. He's Asian. I'm in college, he didn't finish college. I even told him I was falling in love with him since we used to be friends, but he played with my feelings and mocked me for being in luv with him and told me that I was too weird to be his friend and that we should ignore each other at work. I'm not desperate or needy for guys. It's just that I can't shake off the feelings I have for him. My mind is telling me that he is a jerk and he's wrong for me, but my heart is broken.

i will advise you to stop having feeling for the guy because the guy in question does not have any feeling at all for you so dump the guy and go on with your life.god will provide you with a nice date.

You may not think you are desperate or needy but you are Hun. No disrespect because I was there. We often feel if we don't get this one maybe another won't come. It sounds like you got it going on girl, look brush your shoulders off and move on You need to believe that you can and will do better because you deserve better. Stop giving him power over you because that is what you are doing by still holding on, telling him you love him, despite his ridicule of you. Girl please, you can do better.

Because you are always thinking about him, you need to get him off your mind! Think of someone else or try to distract yourself every time you think of him.

grass is greener syndrome. he was unavailable to begin with. his stinging remarks were probably in reponse to your advances... as he is unavailable and you know it.... and even after he has made it clear it won't happen, you still want it. stat to look for relationships where they can acctually happen.
