which is a newspaper article regarding what happened?
Now our prisons are overcrowded and more and more violent people will be bailed and cautioned and free to rip another families world apart and take the life of an innocent kind hearted caring fun loving person like my Dad. I hope they rot in prison.

I apologise for this question, i suppose i just feel angry. I don't live my life in the shadow of it, i don't dwell on it all of the time, but every so often i think about it and it seems so unfair for my Dad. He really was a lovely man and a good friend to me, we had such a good laugh together and i just miss him.
I know those b'stards will have a hidious time in prison. But i agree that they should be killed at the end of their sentance... what use are they to society. I thank you all for your answers and my thoughts are with those who have lost any one in any way. xxx

Last year, my good friend was killed at a local night club. It was a case of mis-identity.He died like your father. I also had 2 other friends that were killed. One in a home invasion, one by a drunk driver. I'm not against justice. They should get beyond the maximum for what they did. But don't let them take your joy. Don't let them rob you of your life. Because if you do, they've not only taken your dad, they've taken the person that your dad loved.
Live your life in his memory. Be a testement to him.

These scum should be made an example of, the blame should be placed on people like John Reed and Tony Blair and the so called Law Lords, Judges and DPP , they have allowed this country to degenerate into the current sorry mess and unfair sentencing that we the public see too often, your fathers case being a prime example.
I hope they rot in jail but sadly the jails are full and no doubt they will be paroled after not so many years.
What happened to your father is nothing but an atrocity worthy of capital punishment. Whilst we have a lying deceitful government such as labour, we will see more and more unbelievable drink and drug fuelled crimes on our streets, perhaps it is time we armed ourselves and took the law into our own hands because the police seem to be ineffectual and useless at protecting honest hard working tax payers from moronic, violent thugs such as murdered your father. They should be half hung then dragged through the streets as an example to all druggies and alcoholics who torment and destroy the lives of the decent people of this country. John Reid and Tony Blair have blood on their hands for allowing these monsters to roam free.

You poor thing. It is hard to loose someone you love and care for. My sister was killed in a car accident because her boyfriend was drunk. He lived and didn't have to go to jail or even be questioned. Law Enforcement should be more strict when it come to a killing of an innocent human being. You are right these men should have to go through a brutal death, just like your father. But remember that revenge goes against everything GOD has taught us. GOD has a plan for those 2 men, they have broken the most important commandment and they will pay for that by going straight to hell. Hold your head up high and always know that your father is protecting you, every step you take.

I am really sorry for your loss. No answer here can undo or mend what has happened. It is a terrible thing to suffer and the only event I can compare it to is when my brother died aged 36 from cancer. His girls were 3 and 6 and the little one had never seen him well. He died in 1999 and I still miss him everyday. He was a brilliant entertainer and could make a laugh out of anything. Because he was like that I also know that he wants the people who mattered to him to enjoy their lives as best they can. My whole family are getting together tomorrow for my mother's 70th birthday and my brother will be remembered fondly and spoken about. Cherish your Dad's memory and seek what you know he wanted for you. Those 2 thugs can never take that from you. I will think of you tomorrow.

Can't understand the law of this country now.If they would slap people in jail from their first offence they would think twice about going back again. Each time they offend double their time in jail and those who commit serious crimes should never get out.Prisons wouldn't be overcrowded then as they wouldn't re-offend so readily. These human rights people have a lot to answer for and seem to look out more for the criminal than the victim,it's so sad. It's going to come that we'll all be afraid to go out so much violence is happening.I do hope you will come to terms with this it must be so hard for you.

They definately should have got a true life sentence - where they die in jail - as the CCTV was proof undeniable of their guilt.

The death penalty is a stupid idea though because it is an easy way out. The murderers would just stop existing, that wouldn't be a punishment! A true punishment for such a crime would be to lock them in a dark room and never let them outside for the rest of their lives.

People for the death penalty think they are being hard-liners, but they're just wimps. Stopping their existance, makes it easy on them, morons. What kind of punishment do you call complete freedom, which non existance effectively is? Locking them in a dark room for all of their lives would be the ultimate punishment.

I am truly sorry for your loss. The way your dad died was a terrible act. in the first place they should have been arrested for being under the influence of drugs.
And i hope you have closure, i certainly havent.

I regret that, my dad was murdered 5years ago too.
Its hard to believe its been that long.
In fact one of the thugs that did it shouldnt have even been on the streets! he was a drug dealer.
It pisses me off!

And my dads death barely made local news.
There was no court hearing, no trial, no closure. i dont know if theyre out on the streets ruining another kids life.
i was only 11 and those things even KNEW HIM.
they knew he had a family, but they killed him.
Ill try to find a link, but ill warn you, the details arent for the faint hearted.

Feel free to go on my profile and look at it.
Ive felt like i was alone, for along time.

Thanks for the question.
I gave you a star because i only know all to real what youre going through.

I blame idiotic judges and their concept of "REHAB"
Its a bunch of nonsense!!!!!

Let them seve life in jail.
And for their brutal act of murder, i think they deserve the death penalty!

Seriously, Im trying to find a link, but the murder was so low profile and had no media coverage.

******I found it: WINTER HAVEN -- One man is under arrest and another is being sought in the slaying of a man whose body was dumped in a Polk County orange grove.

Visit the site.
My dad was not homeless, he was a dear father and husband going through hard time! And i hate how them media down plays him as a nothing.

Go down to the part that says :Man says arguement led to Grove Slaying.

May God Bless You!

*I find comfort sometimes with these scriptures. I hope you will too. Im sorry for my language above, ill erase it. But sometimes i just get so angry.

Psalms 147:3 He heals the broken heartened, binding up their wounds.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

John 14:27 I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give is not fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.

John 14:18 No, I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm-I will come to you.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.

Psalms 30:5b Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes in the morning.

John 16:33 I have told you these things so that you will have peace of heart and mind, Here on earth you will
have many trials and sorrows, but cheer up, for I have overcome the world,

You have my sympathy. My aunt was run over by a drunk driver who had 4 previous arrests for DWI, a revoked license, two arrests for driving without a license, and no insurance. I could not understand why that man wasn't in prison. And even after this, he made bail and my uncle saw him CONTINUING TO DRIVE.

This man lived just four houses down from my aunt. My uncle had to sell the house and move himself and his three children to a new place because he said, if he had stayed there, he would have killed the guy. And if he had, HE would have gone to prison. Where's the logic of that?

I didn't click the link, but from the address did it happen in the UK then? I dont' know much about the laws there, but if they are similar to here, then unfortunately more emphasis is put on the perpetrator than the victim. Personally, I think they should be sent to the chair for first degree murder, but there are way too many people who don't agree with me.
