yeah most don't do squat, however you could try Mitchum Cool Dry Hydro Solid - it's a guy's brand, but they make it in unscented and the unscented is absolutely odorless. It works so well that you can easily skip days and still not sweat.

Get Certain Dri. It's a little pricier ($6 at target). I have excessive perspiration under the arms and I thought I was never going to get it to stop. I started using Certain Dri 2 weeks ago and I do not sweat at ALL under my arms anymore! It's fantastic and totally worth the money! Make sure you use it according to the directions though. It's not used like normal antiperspirant.
Also, this stuff about the higher amounts of aluminum in it causing cancer and all that is BS and hasn't been proven. Check the website for the FDA; they have a report on it.

well, the only way to stop the sweating under your arms would be to have your sweat glands removed. Deodorants just lessen the smell, it's the anti perspirant you need. If you've tried several, and are not having any luck, you may want to go see your doctor about it. Beleive it or not, you can get anti perspirants by prescription!! The reason I know this is because for many years, my aunt had the same problem. She had over-active sweat glands under the arms. Her doctor prescribed her a super strength anti-perspirant, and that worked for her.
That's about all I can tell you!!!

Deodorants are just perfumed powders. Its the anti-perspirant that keeps you dry. Make sure its labeled like that on the product.

Have you tried Secret? It claims its strong enough for a man but made for women.

If all else fails try men's anti perspirant deodorants.

If you wear white colored clothes you can try a small dab of corn starch in additiion to deodorants. My family used that on me and my sister during new york city hot summers when we were kids!

You can go to the dermatologist and get Botox injections. That's really the only way to control it if it's really bad.

There is an OTC product you can try as a last resort... it's called DrySol (I think) and it's supposed to be the strongest non-prescription antiperspirant on the market.

ack! I have the same problem (but my palms also sweat. EWW!) so far I haven't found any brand that works really well. just wear light shirts and keep a small thing of deodorant in your purse.
by the way, let me know if you find something that does work really well!
GOOD LUCK!

You should definitely try a Lady Speed Stick to get rid of the yuckyness:) I use it, and not only does it prevent the perspiration, but it also leaves your affected skin silky smooth. Try it girl, and you'll absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

anti persperant will work, but its has a lot of aluminum in it and has been linked to cancer an alzhimers. I'd just keep using deoderant and deal with it.

sounds like some hyperhydrosis. there are antiperspirants you can use, like, before you go to bed that help with this. there's also a surgical option but i suggest maybe the antiperspirant first. here: www.coradhealthcare.com
