I really think that you need to visit Rome before you can report on the city.Unless of course you have some journo friends who can pass on the good, bad and the ugly side of a city.
If you are doing a school project, then head for the library;only thing with this aspect of travel reporting, is that you have not personally researched Rome for yourself.
This can be fatal, if someone asks you something about the local culture, as you could be caught on the back-foot.
