I use to drink up to 3 or 4 Pepsis a day and 2 cups of brewed coffee. Now I only have one Pepsi and one cup of instant coffee. Now I've been feeling down and edgy, just wondering if it is due to the amount of caffeine that I have cut out.

Yes it can. As you know caffeine is a drug and drugs can lead to addiction. Whenever you try and cut back on something too quickly it can cause physical and emotional changes. Cutting back is a good thing but don't go too quickly, also, keep an eye on the depression and talk with someone if you need too.
take care of yourself :)

Yes, it can cause depression. As a stimulent, without it you feel a depression. You get the down feeling and the edginess, you may also be experiencing a headache. That is from the decrease in caffeine also. It takes about 14 days to get all of the caffeine out of your body if you quit, and you get real withdrawl symptoms.Try mixing your coffee half real and half decafe. Or they sell a lite now that is already mixed. Tylenol for the headache helps, maybe it would aid the depression?

I know it can make you kill, Cause If I don't drink my coffee in the morning someone is going to die.

Caffeine is a "drug" like any stimulant. You can become very lethargic and tired as well as edgy and sarcastically evil if you try to quite it.

It's good to stop with the help of a good anti toxin. There are lots of natural ways to detoxify your body that will help get it out of your system faster. Just look up "natural anti toxins" on Yahoo or Google (of course I suggest Yahoo! first :)

I'm sure that could affect you. today I had a large starbucks dark roast with 4 shots of espresso in it. How insane is that? What's worse is I started drinking red bulls starting in the early afternoon and still going.

I'd hate to give up caffeine, You've got my sympathy.
