Ok, so I met this guy on a dating site and we've been emailing eachother back and forth since early January and have spoken on the phone several times. We never met in person because he is in the military and overseas right now but he asked me out on a date and flirts with me on the phone and in email. He says that because of his job it's difficult for him to have a relationship right now but says he would like to continue getting to know me and looks forward to meeting me when he comes back to the states. Is he really into me or is he just playing mind games?

sounds genuine... not a lot he can do if he's overseas in the military.

I dont think hes playing games, because he admitted he doesnt have time for a relationship right now. Hes only asking to continue getting to know you, so take time and figure things out once you two get a little closer. It hasnt been very long. He wouldnt talk to you if he didnt like you or wasnt the least bit interested in you, so Im sure he would like to eventually try something, hes just so far away. Good luck!

Wow...I have never been a big fan of the internet dating scene. It seems kind of scary to me. I am sure it can work, but just be careful. I don't think that age matters too much, but the fact that you have never met him (in person) is kind of strange. I would not put too much into it until he proves that he is serious by visiting you. I would certainly not call myself committed to someone I had never met. Just be careful and be his friend until it works itself out. If it is meant to be, it will happen. Good luck!!!

I'm sure that it's difficult for him, I'm sure, to have a relationship with you right now. If you met on the internet & can communicate via email & telephone, then you should continue that for now. Be happy with what you got.

well gal let me tell you he is just playing with you...Don't think that he is interested on you he is just playing you by a fool....I knew one just like him he is a Captain in the military and he try to do the same thing to me but I am don't fall for it easy...So I say ciao=bye...When a person feel so lonely they tell you such things...By the way if he is in the military...How he is talking with you so often? When they are over seas they can't talk in the phone and e-mails...Most of the time they can write regular letters...But not much Internet options...
