my maclaren techno xt leaves the buggy board too close to my feet and my urban detour three wheeler is comforable for me but my sons head is squashed against the handle bar.

i have mine connected onto my mam's and papa's pram as my other buggy lies back to far and there's no way my little girl would be able to stand on there, I know that there are extension brackets that comes with the board but then like you say you end up kicking it.
Can you not adjust the settings so that the board is nearer to the maclaren?
They are a good idea but also have there down side, did a man invent it I wonder!!

i work in a baby shop and sell buggy boards for all sorts of buggies,and you're right about the techno. to be honest i've never seen one on a buggy yet that looked comfortable to push.depending on your wee boys age it could be that he's too old for it,i wish someone would invent one that allows the parent to walk comfortably yet still fit the age they say they are suitable for.i think bugaboo make their own and emmajunga do a roller which seems ok, but only to fit their own.the triumph buggys a bit easier to handle with the buggyboard but not if you're tall. sorry not been much help!!

maclaren buggys are usually fine with buggy boards but in my expereince we have used it with a maclaren quest buggy. The mamas and papas strollers are meant to be good with the buggy boards aswell.

i used mine for two years on a maclaren i think with every pram you get the buggy board is going to be uncomftable to use.
