There is NOTHING wrong if you love each other and are in a committed loving relationship. Don't worry some people in our society are no broad minded enough to see pass a taboo. Don't know where you're from, but in US, I believe, the law says the blood relation between married couples has be at least 2nd cousin
( not 100 % sure, but that's what I heard)
My parents were 2nd cousins...my mothers grandmother and my fathers grandfather were brother and sister

My aunt married her cousin when they were older and she was divorced, and he was a widower, and their kids grown. They are the happiest couple around. They support each other, love each other and they reach out and help others too. I think they are a great couple to look up to.

my husband was the product of first cousins . He had some serious medical problems. On top of that there were alot of friction caused between his mother and his aunt and of course this spread downward

umm u don't have to worry about kids so there's nothing wrong with it its only risky if ur planing to have kids together & if ur families get on well then its great but if ur families have an issue aginst each other well there will be troble i guss but as u said love is love & u shouldn't let any one destroy that !!!!!!!not even ur family !!!!!!

uuummm.....eeewwww!!!i hope yall dont have kids they might end up having sumthing wrong with them i mean its ok to have a verrry small crush on like a cousin thats say your third or fourth cousin but getting married to them is just plane weird.....
