Okay well my girlfriend was on the pill for just over a year, then stopped for a week, and has been back on about a month and a half, to 2 months. She is about 5 days early before her period is supposed to come and having period-like cramps. Does this mean she could possibly be pregnant? what are the odds? We had sex once since she's been back on the pill about 2 weeks ago, which would have been 1 week after her period... Would she have been ovulating then?

So chances of her being prego are waaaaaaaaay low right? Im 18 she's 17, and I'm soooo scared right now... She's had something similar to this happen before... but it definitely could be because she stopped for a week and her body is just reacting to going back on the pill right?
Anyone have any idea what kinda % chance we're looking at here?

Wait... she said her last period started the 19th of january, and it's usually 28 days... how long does a period last? 7 days? that would make the 28th day today... hmmm is that a good thing or bad thing?

Cramping during pregnancy is a warning sign...of miscarriage. It's probably her monthly cramping.
She stopped the pill and restarted...her body is going through changes adjusting.
You seem a bit anxious. If you're not prepared for pregnancy, (family) lay off the sex.
Men take responsibility and boys run off.

Note(s):
In rare cases, women can get pregnant on the pill. If they do, they must stop taking it.
It takes an entire month for the pill to start working, once restarted.
If you believe there's any chance your information is wrong....buy a pregnancy test. It will take the "edge" off, because you'll stop worrying.

Women are typically at their most fertile midway through their cycle. As far as I'm aware early cramping is not a sign of pregnancy. I don't have any experience with the pill so I don't know how long it takes before it is effective. I would only worry if her period is late.

She should be fine, you have to remember, not everyone woman gets it every 28 days, my girlfriend has skipped a cycle, gotten it early, gotten it late. It happens. Just relax, you'll be fine.
