The Bible says in Revelation 12:7-12 --

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The first two chapters of Job shows Satan was still allowed into heaven at that time. He was thrown out of heaven permenantly as recorded in Revelation quoted above. He could not have been thrown out if he was not there to begin with.

A comparison of this with Matthew 24:3-13 indicates that this would be late in the year 1914.

Interestingly, Daniel's prophecy points to this same year as having prophetic significance, in Daniel 4:20-26, about the "7 times."

Satan never "fell" to earth.

Regards to we_be_burnin05:

1st you can not claim that those passages in Isaiah and Ezekial refer to Satan. There is no support for such conclusions. You were right in saying they refer to the Kings of Babylon and Tyre. This is a bad interpretation that is forced on the text after suck folklore was develped. The folklore being that the Devil had been an Angel. Somone also mentions Revelation 12, I also do not see how this describes Satan's fall.

Also, webeburnin mentioned that Satan was in the garden. He was? There is no support for such a conclusion. Read Genesis, its says there was a serpent. Not the DEVIL or SATAN.

So my answer again Satan never fell to Earth. Satan has always been where he is now.

UPDATE:
Lucifer did? Lucifier was the arch angel of Praise and Worship? Aboslutely no scriptural support for such conclusions.

I have never seen so many made up stories by Christians! Lord Forgive them.

Satan’s fall from heaven is described in Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:12-18. While these two passages are referring specifically to the king of Babylon and the King of Tyre, they also reference the spiritual power that was behind those kings - Satan. In regards to when Satan fell, these passages describe why Satan fell, but they do not specifically say when the fall occurred. What we do know is this: the angels were created before the earth (Job 38:4-7). Satan fell before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden (Genesis 3:1-14). Satan’s fall, therefore, must have occurred somewhere after the time the angels were created and before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Whether Satan’s fall occurred a few minutes, hours, or days before he tempted Adam and Eve in the garden, Scripture does not specifically say.

Why did Satan fall from Heaven? Satan fell because of pride. He desired to be God, not to be a servant of God. Notice the many "I will..." statements in Isaiah 14:12-15. Ezekiel 28:12-15 describes Satan as an exceedingly beautiful angel. Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the most beautiful of all of God's creations. Satan was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially "kick God off His throne" and take over the rule of the universe. Satan wanted to be God, and interestingly enough, that is what Satan tempted Adam and Eve with in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-5). How did Satan fall from Heaven? Actually, a fall is not an accurate description. It would be far more accurate to say that God cast Satan out of Heaven (Isaiah 14:15; Ezekiel 28:16-17).

Satan did not fall from Heaven!

Lucifer Did, Why because he tried to exalt his throne above God's

Lucifer was the Arch Angel of Praise and Worship!

When was he thrown out of Heaven! Before the creation of Man! is the closest guess since the Bible does not give a Doy or Month on the subject!

He was just in the garden of Eden, Decieving Mankind from the beginning!

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Satan did not fall to the earth so much as he was cast down, out of heaven. He has been here since the dawn of man. Tempting us, confusing us with every wind of doctrine. Satan cannot do good. He does take good things and twists them, even if ever so slightly, to make a bad thing sound good.

But he has always been here since God placed man on the earth.

Satan actually didn't fall, he was thrown out of Heaven by the Arc Angel Micheal. Don't have a date, but he was thrown due to his pride, which is the first sin; and not wanting to give God all the glory.

This is Jehovah's Witness nonsense linked to their false prophecy that Christ would return at a year that coincided with the end of the 1st World War...which of course he didn't.

That's a tough one, and I can see how you would be confused. Did it occur with Daddy Bush, or with GW Bush? Most scholars agree that it started with Reagan...
