I live in New England and we have the beautiful White Mountain Region. Although there are many other mountain ranges...nothing compares to the change of seasons we get to experience. In the fall the mountains are covered in amazing colors, the winter brings fantastic skiing, the spring is amazing with new life, in the summer hiking is at its best. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Old growth?
Timber production?
Type of wood?
Biodiversity (Appalachians)?
Fun to hike?
Unpolluted?
