Absolutely, I am in that same situation with my wife. We have been together since 1988 and we don't have a very good sex life, however we both love each other very much and are very comfortable in each others presence. We have two kids that are great and we live together only for our company. We still have our sexual time together because we both still have the need for pleasure and it brings us closer together.
So YES to your answerer. A relationship is not based on sex alone but compatibility.

I was in that situation for a couple months a long time ago, we ended up staying together for 2 years. It is possible and it will pass.
