I don't want to ruin my relationship if I do this and she finds out. I want to keep the results to myself. Is this possible?

As the first poster suggested, get a test off of the net. Heck, you can get a paternity test out of your local pharmacy, if you so desire. Usually it requires nothing more than to swipe a swab on the inside of your mouth and do the same for the child. It's quick, the results are accurate and you'll have your answer in a few short weeks. It's also not expensive either.

First why would you not want her to know? Second I think that is only possible in Anna Nicole Smiths case (LOL). If the mother has custody of the child and you do it without her permission I think that is becoming illegal. The best thing to do would be to tell her you want a paternty test or go to a court and have one done.

If you can get a sample w/out mom knowing, I'd start by calling planned parenthood, or looking in the yellow pages under paternity test. Good luck, but if you are going to stay with her regardless, do you really want to know?

Legally it depends on your custody arrangement. Do you have custody of the child? Is it joint custody or full custody? A person with full custody of the child could have them tested without the other parents approval. How ever if she has custody or its joint custody then you will need her approval. If you are going to do this then do it right -with a reputable company(call and ask at the Friend of the Court how to arrange one). That way if you prove to not be the father you have proof that will be accepted by the Friend of the Court and you wont have the child have to be retested.

If you can steal a sample from the baby and have the test done without her finding out.

IMO, your relationship is already ruined because you think there's a chance that the kid isn't yours.

I easily do not comprehend. at times i have heard of, they prefer to have both moms and dads there which will tournament the DNA up precisely, yet they could technically do the try with in simple terms you and the toddler. you'll, for sure, ought to get the toddler to the final practitioner's workplace to finish the try without her expertise (and that i do not comprehend, they're going to require her consent to do the try). i'd advise that, in case you and she both plan to be lively moms and dads in this youngster's life, that you no longer commence out by doing significant such issues as this without her expertise. As a lady, i wish i'd be expertise sufficient to get why my boyfriend would want a paternity try if I enable napping with him and napping with my ex overlap or did not depart truly some room for blunders. If she is going to be that irresponsible with her body, she needs to guage your favor to have info comprehensible. i'd advise talking to her, extraordinarily in case you 2 intend to artwork jointly to be lively moms and dads interior the toddler's life. BTW, if you're actually no longer jointly now or interior the destiny, and she needs you to pay baby help, I DEFINATELY imagine it really is grounds for procuring a paternity try performed (no longer to attempt to no longer pay your commonly used jobs, notwithstanding it really is in simple terms common experience).
