These few days I have been doing a lot of work, so I only eat dinner after whole day of being awake. I drink water to stop myself from feeling hungry, and when I do sit down to eat a proper meal at night, my stomach hurts. Why is this?

Because it goes into starvation mode and then you feed it and it goes into overload! You must have regular food throughout the day otherwise it messes up your whole metabolism and system. If you need to work throughout the day plan your meals in advance and snack while you are working.

Uh.. probably because you've been so hungry throughout the whole day,and then when you do finally eat, your probably eating too fast and your stomache can't take it. It's a very, very bad habit to get into. You will develop stomache problems like GERD if you persist in doing it. It's a good idea to eat a little something every 3-4 hours, or at least 3 meals a day!!

Don't get into this habit. You will lose out a lot. Your sugar blood level will be off and your body may feel weak. A lot of other complications can follow suit. If you are fasting prepare days before. If you must go without eating a meal or two eat small portions throught the day. An occasional snack won' hurt if you must skip a meal. But don't deprive yourself of meals espercially for long hours. You can aquire diabetes if you are not healthy. Along with stress, muscle loss, memory loss, nausea, confusion, or even shock. This is not healthy so avoid it at all costs!

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

If you were eating junkfood and stuff before, it could just be your digestive systems haven't gotten used to the healthier foods yet. It's like when you stop drinking coffee for a long time and get headaches.

If you are only drinking water, but sitting at your desk working and talking, it could be air (gas) built up. Try to eat a few snacks and move around a bit.

Hunger pains, and it's not healthy. Your body is craving nourishment, and your giving it water so when you introduce it to
a *complete* meal, instead of just a fruit or vegetable it doesnt have the strength to break down the larger components.
