On their salary, they are only paid to do their job which is upholding the law and arresting criminals. If you want them to be nice, then pay them more of your tax money.

With all the stuff they have to deal with these days, I don't blame them. If they sound like pushovers, they may get resistance from whoever they are ticketing or arresting. Give them a break, they are protecting us from drug dealers, rapists, and murderers. If they want to be a bit rude, be my guest.

dont know all the police I have met over here have been pretty polite....even when I am clearly in the wrong...maybe it is how you are addressing them to start with, that makes their backs go up...............besides when you take into account all the BS they HAVE to deal with each day, surely they are allowed to be a bit off some days.

they have to, so that they can get their job done, and thats right, if they were push overs no one would pay attention to them
