I got the SR-22 insurance, but they haven't changed the status of my license from suspended to VALID... I wanted to know if they always check your license to see if it's valid?

They're supposed to verify it, maybe they don't, but they are supposed to.

You can't rent a vehicle without showing a valid license. And it doesn't go valid automatically just because you now have high risk insurance in place. You need to take the form the insurance gave you along with the receipt for payment of the fines to the court and show it to the state and request your license status be changed to valid.

They are going check. As soon as you take care of whatever you got suspended for, your license should be good to go.

Since 9/11, hopefully they do. Would you want me coming over to your house to borrow you lawn mower without you verifing that I am your son's friend?
