A preschool/kindergarten school that was separate from an elementary school. I was 4 for preschool then went to the actual kindergarten in the elementary school at age 5.

I started kindergarten at 4 in Oregon, public school. I attended public school until 5th grade, when I started parochial school. 9th grade I went back to public school and then on to college.

I didn't go to school until kindergarten.

Kindergarten was invented to get kids ready and used to school, then they made preschool to get kids ready for kindergarten, now some parents even want to send their kids to a class to get them ready for preschool. How early do you want to send your kid away is really the question.

I wouldn't stick my kid in school any sooner then I'd have to

I was three and went to preschool two day a week and when I turned four I was able to go three days a week.
