Safe mode is your computer booting up without any of your drivers or startup software that may be causing issues, You really can't make exceptions. You can use system restore, remove, install or troubleshoot devices though. Safe mode is pretty much only for fixing things, not for use.
Plus, why would you want safe mode? Your normal one doesn't boot?

When Windows is running in Safe Mode, it does not load any device drivers so that you can troubleshoot. This includes not loading the sound drivers.

RE: homestead windows XP wont start up often and purely in risk-free mode? My homestead windows XP workstation won't start up often. as quickly as I turn it on it comprises the show screen the place it ask questions like: start up homestead windows often - start up in risk-free mode - etc etc. it quite is going to purely boot up in risk-free mode and everytime i attempt to start up it often my workstation in simple terms shuts off and turns itself on...
