I need to pay the tuition, buy a laptop computer and also a new electric wheelchair that is smaller. Can anyone help with financial assistance?

Years ago, the local office of the federal rehab helped me get into college and paid my tuition & books as long as my grades were good.

I agree with some of the other people who are answering - the $42,000/year seems really high. Be sure this is not one of those "private colleges" where once you go - you cannot transfer any of the credits to a public university.

If her college is legit, then try searching these databases. You should be able to find several places for possible help.

I do not know whether there's such a benefit available in your area specifically for music vocational training. You might want to get in touch with your government. I know where I live they will help with the necessities of life, like a wheel chair but not for tuition or a lap top. They would consider this not as a necessity,

Check with the councilor in the vocational school for assistance. There are databases you can research for funds. Also, you might check with the state disabilities office to see if they can help. If in high school going to college there are scholarships available. Good luck.

Does the school accept financial aid? If so, complete a FAFSA (link below). Also, your state may have education assistance for disabled persons...I know Alabama does.

If they want $42k, you are getting scammed, imo. Will she even be able to earn $42k at the job she is allegedly being trained for? Many states have education training programs for the disabled. They are much cheaper, sometimes free. My cousin went through one, but he is a lazy butt & only works 15hrs/wk.
