Any child over 2 years must have their own seat on the aircraft. If you decide to use a car seat for your child, make sure that the seat carries a label that states it is approved for use on aircraft, otherwise you will not be permitted to use it. The following is copy/pasted from Easyjets website: What sort of car seat should I use? The seat and its harness must be designed so your child can easily and quickly be secured or removed from it. The harness must be a minimum of 1 inch / 2.5 cm wide and must include lap, shoulder and crotch straps (also known as a 5 point harness) to make sure they’re properly secured. The car seat must be rigid and forward facing.

You must be at least 15 tot sit in the Exit Row. There is no limit on how old you may be, however you must be willing and able to assist in the event of an emergency eveacuation. Depending on the aircraft, the window exit can way 80lbs. or so.

you must be fit and able to get out of the way , so those with problems stand no chance , the pitch of seats these days should be 30 inch back of the seat to seat in front , but no luck ,stack them high and count the profit

You have to be able-bodied because you are next to the emergency exit...you might have to push the door out or help people.
