Ask & then REFUSE to accept the facts?

Just bored children-whatever their age?
Terminally stupid?
Desperately trying to find anybody out in cyber-space that will validate their ignorance?
Think that the rules don't apply to *them*?
Truly can't tell the difference between FACTS & "opinions"?

All of the above?

Terminally stupid?
i like that the best!
really its all the above.

if ppl hide in their own little world they don't have to deal with any facts.
that even though they breed one time that make 8 pups say say 4 of them pups are female those females could have 8 more pups each one time... males can breed anytime..so look at that.

and ppl don't want to see how they can be part of the problem...life is happier for u if ur ignorant i guess..then u don't have to deal with the problems of the real world.

I think all of the above though terminally stupid is a bit harsh.

I also find it interesting that many who post conflicting points of view seem to be resolved to hold to their opinion whether they are right or wrong. Not just here but on many forums. I really look at these places as a great way to learn more... So if someone says something that you don't think is right, why not Google or Yahoo, do some research, contact an expert and learn something new instead of holding onto an untruth or myth. Very often it's an opinion that is based on wrong or simply outdated information. What's the harm in saying "Wow I didn't know that!" Isn't that why we're all here? To learn?

Maybe they like getting slammed for their stupid questions. Probably all of the above. I am so sick and tired of hearing the questions, what should I do my dog is about to give birth?? People really need to do the research before they do the things they do. I will always try to help people with my breed. I get phone calls a lot with people just asking questions. I don't mind helping, as I am hoping that I am educating them a bit before they jump into buying a puppy from someone that just put 2 dogs together. I have called on ads in the paper before and asked about pups. You find out after being on the phone with some of these people for about a minute that they don't know much at all about the breed!

Amen to all of the above! I almost always list my source after I post things. And people really need to search questons and answers before posting, as they usaully have already been asked and answered. Its such a waste of question space. Come on, lets get real on here. And what about the want ads for their dogs? Those crack me up...male so and so seeking female so and so to mate with. Must be in heat, and not fixed....I totally agree with this one: Seems like the lights are on but nobody is home...

I think a lot of them already know the truth and do want to accept it. They look for answers that will validate what they want to believe. Some are children. I think most just want someone to agree with them. Whether they are right or wrong. I have been guilty of this myself. I think we all have at one time or another. I think it is human nature.

I have found that people really have a hard time with the truth.

They are in a state of denial.

The Truth hurts.

Their minds are already set, right or wrong.

They wear blinders to see only what they want to see.

They are single minded &/or narrow minder.

Some are just ignorant and/or stupid.

Some are mental cases.

You get the idea?

If people that come here are "all of the above" why are you people reading this and answering this question and why did you even bother to post this question???? Some people do have valid questions and deserve valid answers so give me a freaking darn break!

I don't think you recognized Chetco's answer as irony. We all sit here and shake our heads at some of the questions people ask.

Because even though they've already made up their minds, they have nagging doubts and want someone to tell them they are right when they know they aren't.
