A few weeks- but just a piece of advice- try doing your pull ups directly after doing your push ups, that really maximizes the benefits of both exercises. Throw in some dips too.

Immediately. (But for a little while) Whenever you do push ups and pullups depending on your physique and muscle elasticity you will see temporary immediate results. Why? Blood and oxygen are pumping through your muscles giving you an instant plump look. It's OK to flex after your work out! You will see results in the mirror. This will help you to inspire your following workout. Everyday you do these exercises you will get stronger. Do sets of reps and you will know how much to increase. You really only have to do this 3-5 a week to see results. If you consume a lot of meat and protein shakes you will speed up the process. To look more toned, do some cardio too. This will help you lose your body fat and it will sculpt your muscles. But concentrating on weight training for the muscles will ultimately chisel your muscles. Start training at home. Gradually work yourself up to a gym membership and run regularly. Of course, eat right and sleep well too. You body neds rest in order for your muscles to grow!

probably either a week or 2 weeks, the key is not to rest too much, but dont overkill yourself, listen to your body when it hurts, meaning you have to STOP...even if you still workout with sore muscles you wont gain muscles cause ITS SOREE!!..its hurting...if you do feel soreness, the secret is hot or warm water in shower...
