This is an actual occurence. I was pregnant with our fourth child and had major complications late (6 mos) into the pregnancy. As a result of these complications I was in a coma. My husband was told by our OB/GYN that the only way to save my life was to take the baby, if he decided that; the baby most likely will not survive. The dilemma is; we are Catholics and do not believe in any of that sort of intervention...but when faced with it; what do you REALLY decide?

My husband chose to keep the pregnancy, (and chose his best: When in doubt; do nothing!) and hope for the best. It created more medical drama, but needless to say I'm here! The baby did live, and she is now a beautiful 8 year old.

you are heading to a hospital to see your dying mother in response to a phone call which says she has less than an hour to live. As you are travelling in your car the car in front of you overturns and crashes into a tree. You stop your car and run over to find the driver seriously injured and losing blood from a the injuries. You turn our scarf into a pad and press down to stop the bleeding and hear someone say there is an ambulance on the way but it will take nearly an hour to get to you. The injured driver groans , grabs your hand and whispers 'please do not leave me.'
What do you do?

Abortion is a "biggie". If you found out your unborn child was suffering from Spina Bifida, a very rare and fatal strain and probably has a max life span of 9 hours. You have the option to terminate at 20 weeks, what do you do?

If you promise to keep an important secret about somebody, then your best friend just sort of figures it out and point blank asks you.
In my case, best friend was an ex-girlfriend, who really wouldn't have been upset by knowing the truth about her new boyfriend, who was the somebody with the secret and also a good friend. My response was: "Really, did he tell you that, wow who would have ever thought."

attorneys face this seize 22 subject: in the journey that your client has killed someone and advised you the position the body is buried and the sufferer's kin contacts you and needs to charm to close the position the body is which will provide the guy a ideal funeral, are you able to tell them? it really is a seize 22 subject between own ethics and specialist ethics. Professionally one will be subject to sanctions for violating the criminal specialist-client privilege if one advised the kin the position the body became buried, regardless of if the customer dies.
