Its easy to fix you just have to disconnect the two units from one another, lower the volume all the way on the TV as well as on the DVD player, then connect the two again and turn the volume back up and itll be good, its somethin very simmilar to that it always happens to me i cant remember the exact details, has nothing to do with how the wires are connected though

Is the DVD player outputting 5.1 or something? Does it have independent volume control that needs to be turned to max?

Are you sure it isn't that particular disc?

If this all checks out, try a different audio cable connection between the DVD and TV.

HI, did some reading from amazon on the reviews and it seems other people are having the same issue. The volume from the Coby unit to the TV is a fixed volume and has been made way too high, unfortunately due to the design there doesn't appear to be any way to fix this. Andre L, interesting and passionate feedback but completely unhelpful for the person asking the question, who has already made their purchase.

Check your wires the one that goes into audio is wrong try moving them around.
