I just think its funny that the heads from different churches met to decide which books would go into the bible, however long ago i dont know. How does that even make sense? Then they can just throw out the books that don't sound so righteous and they'll have a perfect set of rules or guidelines to follow. The bible i'm sure was edited to the point where only righteous ideas and stories made it through to the bible we read today. Why not have every single book that composed the bible, in the current bible? It sounds stupid to me and makes me think the people are practicing their religion without full knowledge of the past. Seems lame.

To each his own. It's a choice. One can choose to follow it, or not. No one says that you have to go by the bible. If you don't like it, don't read it. Go find something else.

Since the Bible is defined as the specific set of texts compiled by the bishops of the Catholic Church at the end of the 4th Century, yes, we still have in the Bible every book that ever was in the Bible. Except Protestants of course, whose founder decided to throw out 3 New Testament books and 7 Old Testament books that every Christian on earth had used for the previous 1,200 years. Fortunately his followers didn't allow him to trash the writings of the apostles, so Protestant Bibles are only short 7 books, not 10. The true and full Bible however is still used in the Church that compiled the Canon of Scripture, the Holy Catholic Church. Not a word has been added or removed, or ever will be.

It was the heads of the Church that God designed! Many of them still had the scars and wounds of the persecutions that they suffered at the hands of non-believers. What other books are you refering to? There were only the four Gospels when the Bible was compiled. All of those other Gospels were written well after the fact. The authors were never proven. The early Church Fathers in the second century only made reference to the four Gospels and left us many notes and writings that verify this fact. God writes in Psalms that He will keep His word pure and preserved! He also writes that the heavens and the earth shall pass away, but His Word shall stand forever!!
