You always remove anything with Add/Remove in the control panel or by the programs built in uninstaller, getting it off the desktop, just click and hold with mouse and drag to recycle bin. Good Luck

I have found a few programs that is near impossible to remove. But when all else fails click on run, then type in regedit. Then in there click on edit at the top next to file and then click on find. Type in the name of the program. Then click delete. Keep doing this over and over until no more can be found. Then close and restart.

If add/remove programs removed it and you restarted the computer already, then the icon is probably still sitting there(thats normal). Right click on it and then just delete it. But before you do that, double click on the icon to see if the program still runs. If it runs like before, then go to add/remove programs to see if its in there and uninstall it again, if it is. If its not in add/remove programs, then don't worry, just delete the left-over icon.
