Personally I don't have any problems with the gay community. I have a gay friend and I've never had a problem working with any of them. It's just their lifestyle that I don't approve of. Know before everyone starts saying that I'm wrong for thinking the way that I do just listen to my argument. I am Christian above anything else, now I'm not overly religious, but the bible does state that homosexuality is wrong. Now I have two choices 1) I can choose to follow what God says or 2) I can choose not to listen to God's word to please the homosexual community. Those who claim to be real Christians tend to go with option #1. Now I'm not saying gays are bad people, I know for a fact that I am far from perfect. Gays or just like straight folks, some good and some are bad. Its just I to go with what the Bible says.

Now if your an atheist, then obviously what God has to say means nothing to you. But for those of us you proclaim to be Christians, there's simply no excuse for you not to follow the word. I find it amazing that someone can read the word abomination and can try to justify why it doesn't mean homosexuality isn't wrong. The last time I checked that word wasn't a good thing.

I don't want it to seem like I'm just picking on gays, because there are lot of things in Bible that tells us what we shouldn't be doing. And we just try to change the words up to justify our actions. Everybody wants to believe in the Bible, until they see something the speaks of they are currently do. The right thing to do would be to stop what your doing, but people would rather change the meaning and then spread the lie, which confuses everyone. If that's the case your better off disregarding the Bible all together

Ben ok is splitting hairs and he's many times falsely claiming faith has no longer something to do with homophobia everybody's meant to have a similar elementary rights homosexuality isn't a call yet they are going to lie that it rather is and that they at the instant are not confident while lesbians, gays and bisexuals tell them in any different case, mendacity that that is determination means they are able to experience alright to be homophobes many think of marriage is christian it rather is likewise nonsense "gay" became a term coined in 1869 so it won't be able to be interior the bible or a sin, the bible's been mistranslated and misunderstood the bigots make it appear like human beings into a similar gender do no longer fall in love and characteristic a similar thoughts/thoughts as heteros edit: i do no longer see how that is immoral that some persons are into intercourse basically edit2: kdanley - necrophilia is non-consensual, adequate stated edit3: that is no longer a call British bigot

It is all about the law of nature.
Male plus female equals reproductive.

Some gays may imply religion is the opposition, but take out religion, you still need to consider how we reproduce.
We care alot about extinction of animals, how about the concern for human extinction?
I do not buy that the feeling is inborn at all, Just like we can choose to love a certain woman, and not the other.
The bottom line is, its unnatural, and its illogical.

We were created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
(1 Corinthians 6:9) What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men,

(1 Timothy 1:10) fornicators, men who lie with males, kidnappers, liars, false swearers, and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching

I am not opposed to homosexuality. I am opposed, however, to it's depiction as something that is THE RIGHT THING TO DO.
I am a parent, and live in the real world. I don't want to hear about people's sexual practices, as much as I don't want to hear about people's toilet habits. People who like to flaunt and shock are twisted that they have to do this.

Mostly its the religious people that have a problem with it. Usually Christians. I bet they can give you some quotes to explain why they're prejudiced, intollerant persecutors toward the homosexual population.

It goes against scripture.
It promotes (to a great extent) promiscuous behaviors.
It goes against everything in nature except other naturally occuring abherations.
It lowers "community standards" of morality.
Statistically, it shortens life expectancy, and creates greater chance for personal rejection.
Homosexual lifestyles also tend to foster a greater level of illness and disease among its practitioners.

Because thruought the Holy Bible, God calls homosexuality a sin, an abomination, that leads to destruction and death, and sends one to hell. This is why we say this. It isnt just what we think, it is what GOD tells us in HIs word. What He says, settles it for us. But, ever homosexual on this planet, is still loved by God, and we are to love them too, and pray for them to accept Jesus before its too late, turn from their sin, repent, and then follow the teachings of Jesus. He is eager to forgive, as He is love.
But, it is unnatural affection , just as sex with animals is. Only male to female sex within the confines of marriage is what God allows, and He says so. This isnt me being hateful nor is He being hateful. He knows what it leads to, and He loves us all too much to leve us in our sin filled condition. God bless you for the question, May you find the answers God so loningly desires to tell to you and others also.
