have this guy..who flirts with me but he never really made an actual move,. so he told me that he finds me to be very attractive and to call him if I ever wanted to hang out or go to a movie.. but he's always questioning me about how come I'm always leaving when he comes and talk to me... so I thoughtwell he told me to call him if i ever wanted to hang out..so I made the first move and asked him to hang out.He told me that he would like to but it would have to be in a couple of weeks because he is broke....so I called him yesterday..and told him i was going to starbucks and if he wasn't busy after work, he could join me he told me that starbucks sounds good, however today wouldn't be too good since he's busy, and that we would have to meet up sometime next week..then I asked him if he wasn't interested would he tell me?

He replied that "if I wanna meet up with him that's cool" "But I can't say that I'm intrested in it be an ongoing thing"....and i thought to myself hmm..okay..I mean I wasn't trying to make you my man or anything.. and then I thought well you were the one that invited me out first, he invited me to workout with him, and to church..so I'm a litle confused..

He has a relationship on the go with someone else. You are his likely target for a booty call.

Wow that is a bunch of mixed signals!!! What's a girl to do??? How about...nothing! That is all you can do, and frankly if the bozo asks you out again, tell him, politely...staring darts at his forehead..."No, thank you".

You were extremely polite, thoughtful in the Starbucks situation, and he turns it down? He's broke...ummmm, it's okay when guys are broke once and a while; happens to all of us, but does he have no scruples and come up with a better excuse, like "I can't go out tonight, I have to clean my apartment up before my grandma comes over to visit"...anything but "I'm broke!".

And since when does going on a date require money? Has anyone forgotten parks, renting a DVD, sitting around having tea?
Frankly sweetheart, you are sooo worth more than this...MOVE ON! His signals are crossed in too many avenues, he talks double speak, no money, and! "he doesn't want an ongoing thing"...hmm sounds like he's trying to set you up for a booty call...and again, what did I say? You are worth soooo much more!!

Quit asking him out now. Just quit it. U have ur self-respect. U have made enough attempts. Sit back and forget about him. If he wants, he knows how to get in touch with you. When he does get in touch with you, dont jump at his offer, but take ur time to think if u want to fit him into your schedule. I mean really, how many times has he declined u. I can only guess, but he doesn't sound like a good man to date, to be honest. He also seems to be highly sensitive to the idea of a relationship etc. He just wants to be cool, be pals and nothing else as of now. if u come on strong, he will back away in no time. Treat him as a casual acquaintance and let him go. Whenever he gets back, then u can think how to respond.

PS: I would strongly advise u to not even call him now. Let him get in touch with you.

The guy doesnt really know what he wants.
Just maintain a casual relationship with him: ie friends.
He says he doesn't want it to be "on-going" then just leave it at that, until he lets you know otherwise.

I know it sounds cliche, but the phrase was invented for exactly this kind of situation. The truth is... He's Just Not That Into You.
