They fall in love but they are usually more shy about it. You will either have to take more time getting to know them and wait for them to realize how you feel, or just tell them. Don't say it in a way that makes them think that you are teasing them. They might just get insecure and self conscious.
A lot of nerdy people 'grow' out of it. It depends on the friends they hang out with mostly. The more outgoing their friends are, the more outgoing they will become. Make more physical contact. Give him a hug. He probably really likes it, even if he seems uncomfortable at first.
If you are interested in someone that may be shy or who might think down upon them self, you will need to take the lead.
Guys like that tend to be more loyal and respectful to their friends and girlfriends. It may be harder at first but it will probably be worth it in the long run.

They can fall in love, but they can't show it because most are submissive in nature. Thus why they didn't become football heroes.
A woman hoping such a man will be dominate will be hurt, and lay in bed waiting and hurt because they don't make the first move.
Most nerds get laid because some sweet woman feels sorry for them. Which is nothing to base a whole relationship on.

Anyone can fall in love. Not everyone is interested in looks alone. Prime example watch the show Beauty and the Geek, each season I watched it someone always got together. Also, alot of the time people fall in love with others like them.
They may get insecure sometimes, but who doesn't. Someone can always tell if a person really loves them.
Personally I don't think it's wrong to fall for a nerd, you can't always control who you fall in love with. But if you love them and they love you, then just live your life and be happy.

sure everyone falls n love... some dont try they just give up cuz then they think "who would like me, im such a nerd" yeah u can fall for a nerd.. they may look like a nerd but i fu meet them actually have a real convo wwith them u may find out they r not so nerdy after all (well some of them)

Look at Bill Gates! If he doesn't look nerdy, I don't know who does, LOL!
And the same for that "Jared" guy from the Subway commercials....he got married last year!
If the nerd you are thinking of "falling" for has the qualities that you would normally look for in a potential mate, then YES go ahead and go for it! Nerds need love too you know! Besides, while you may think he's a nerd, someone might think that YOU are a nerd too you know! You never know.....

I was a nerd, and I got out of the category to become a social giant. I fell in love after the change, but I now know I could have fallen in lvoe before if I did not psyche myself out all the time. Need advice on ladies? Try Marius Panzerella dude!

well first thing is that most nerdy people don't act that way.
second is that the fact that people hurt the ones they love because they're insecure, is universal, and it could happen to any one.
sure you can fall for a nerd.
not all "nerds" are cowards. I think you're taking it on a stereotypical view.

ALL kinds of guys fall in love. Kinda weird to think a human couldn't fall in love. We all fall in love. I wouldn't worry about the 'NERD' part as much as how they are as a person. You need to stop judging Nerds...that like asking, "are all cheerleaders sluts?" They aren't. Every Nerd, cheerleader, bank geek and jock are ALL different. We are ALL different. Hope this helps you. Nerdy guys are most of the time Nicer guys.

Of course they can fall in love, some are shy to try to find somebody in a while but eventually they will, yeah they might be insecure but they will soon realize that if that person didn't like them then they wouldn't be with them.
