In my families catholic church there have been people filled with the Holy Spirit. They speak in tongues and prophecy in the name Of the Lord.

Do you believe they are what they say they are, bornagain catholics?
They are not allowed to worship in the sanctuary but are allowed to worship in the basement. Is this considered righteos for the priest to allow this?
Do you think maybe these evangelical catholics have found something better than religious duties and traditions?

I think it is a little too conservative. I, too, am a catholic but disagree with some of our rules. I do not agree with ex-communication simply for re-marrying.

Charismatic Catholics are common in the Church. All Catholics are born again because they have received the holy sacrament of Baptism, which is how Christ said we are to become born again - throiugh water and the spirit. But some Catholics are involved in charismatic spirituality as well, which is fully approved by the Catholic Church. These Catholics worship the same place all Catholics do - at the holy Sacrifice of the Mass, in the Church. But they also hold charismatic prayer meetings, which are not specifically worship services, and such meetings are normally held in a parish hall or other area, not in the main church, which is reserved for the official worship of the Church.

You must be mistaken.......If they were "born of the Holy Spirit" (not born again) they would have to be of age to understand what they're doing and after they accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior into their life, they would live for God and not for themselves enduring in their faith to the end. That is the only way to eternal life........You are not "born again" until the return of Jesus Christ when your physical body has been changed "in the blink of an eye" and you receive your new glorified spirit being body and the crown that comes with it............The people who speak in tongues are not speaking from the spirit of truth but from the spirit of evil that masquerades as the spirit of truth. Satan is the great mimicker of truth, and has deceived the whole world. He is the god of this world and has mimicked the Christian faith with deception and manipulation of a convoluted doctrine which is not of Christ our Lord and Savior.

I do not believe in born again catholics, we do have those that have become vary fanatic within our religion, I can only say that religious insanity befalls on all religions, we simply have not found a way to deal with this form of insanity that's all.

It is obvious you were rear ended in a car crash. Mr. Bubba has obviously rear-ended you. I know your mammy has warned about men who follow too close. Bless your heart; no wonder you speak in tongues.

speaking in tongues is stupid. its a false teaching.

notice the only people who do it are people that are apart of the denominations that teach it? u never see someone from another denomination fall down speaking in tongues. you never see someone who has no idea about that part of the bible, regardless to how "on fire" they are, never fall down and speak in tongues.
