Extremely well! They have day for night vision meaning they see pretty much as well as they do during the day, just sort of like night vision goggles. Their eyes reflect any available light into their eyes to illuminate even during the darkest of nights. That is why their eyes glow when you see them at night, they are reflecting surrounding light back at you. You will never sneak up on an alert cat at night, and wiskers are NOT to help them see at night, they are to help them feel vibrations of small creatures moving around them. Like if they are getting ready to pounce on prey, the vibrations of the preys movements will tell the cat the optimum time to strike. The whiskers and their sight make them deadly night hunters.

Cats eyes are specially adapted to see very well in the dark. Just about how well you see during the day!

Not too well, that's why they have whiskers so they can use that to feel for the walls so they don't run into them... if their whiskers get cut off or anything then you will hear alot of BUMPS in the night...lol... my little girl experimented with scissors and had cut my kitties whiskers off on one side of his face... poor kitty!! They see as much as you would at night... They are also able to reflect light (if there is any light) from their eyes to help them see around the house... I hope this was helpful!!!

I think they see great in the dark. At night one time, lights all off, it's extremely dark and my cat flew out of the bed and started crying towards the wall..........................what was there was the smallest spider..........................I would say, they can see great.

I always thought pretty well. I still leave a night light on for kitty near her food and her litter box...just in case.
