Definitely love letters because words that are spoken are sometimes forgotten. With a letter or a card when you miss that person or just want to remember that moment all you have to do is pull that out and read it again versus trying to remember what exactly was said. And a love letter is way more romantic and thoughtful because time was put into it and he/she was not put on the spot to say or do something. It is the little gestures such as this that will be remembered the most when all else is said and done...I promise.

Love letters sometimes so I can re read them at any time, but verbally expressed feelings are done face to face and this helps you to see that a person is genuine, but it really all comes down to the actions, the little things that count in the end.

I pick love letters. The verbally expressed feelings are there and true, but not permanent. The letters are. (: Even if things don't work out for the best, you still have that instead of a memory.

I love verbally expressed feelings but a few love letters will help from time to time because if a man takes the time to write down his feelings for me that means he really means it and really wants to be with me

I know i prefer face to face expressed feelings. Like when my b/f tells me or says something sooo cute yet "corny" at the same time. Love letters are also nice though. Especially when the guy/girl leaves them in random places for you that you least suspect it then BAM! there's a love letter in your sock drawer. either way as long as someone is expressing their feelings for you it shouldnt really matter how they show it because either way they still feel the way they do- they just dont know how to show it.

I prefer love letters, because for one, they are more thought out and express more in depth feelings, and two, they last longer and you can look at them any time you're thinking about the writer and it will put an instant smile on your face, and you will feel the love in your heart.

As salaamu 'alaikym warahmatullahi wabaraktuh, my friend. Insha'Allah, love with out the actions that prove the same is not love. It is only words. Words of love may excite but they cool too, too quickly. Love is a shy look and a smile, a hand to hold, a walk in autumn leaves, running together as you play chase with the waves on the shore. Love is waking up at night to see the stars and the moon, or going outside to catch snow flakes. Love is sharing iced tea on a hot day, or hot chocolate on a cold one. Love is the little sacrifices ones makes for the other without ever mentioning them or asking for the same in kind. Love is both what we do and who we are. Love, insha'Allah, is the most beautiful and precious gift we receive from Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, for not only leads us to one another, it also leads us to Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala. Ma'a salaam.
