Limewire is a great piece of software for downloading files. The only bad thing about it is the files you download may be copyrighted or a virus in disguise.

Tricky. On Limewire you can get alot of things that you can't get in stores or that isnt sold any more. But at the same time you are very liable to download viruses of all sorts into your computer. Scan what you want before you download it to be safe.

you should download limewire than from limewire download limewire pro, the regular limewire has too many ad supports and its annoying

I never liked limewire. I prefer bearshare lite. I never get any virus or spyware problems with bearshare & u get 2 download thousands of files.

LimeWire sucks, I use ares, if you want it go on google, and type "ares" and click the second link, it's great, you can get movies, music, videos, programs and documents... hope you enjoy it and did i mention its FREE 100%??

Its an excellent means of downloading malware! So are ALL of them! Feel free to jump on in and infect the bejeesus outta your PC! Anyone who tells you they dont is an internet illiterate boob!

It's very overrated, plus it comes bundled with spyware, which is a big red flag. I use eMule Plus, it is open source and doesn't come with spyware, and it works very well.
