They came around our work the 2nd week of January and kept the sheets out for a week. If you've missed it in your area, a lot of the time Walmarts will have GS's sitting outside in March to sell extra boxes that they stock-piled.

I don't know if you go to church but a little girl at our church was selling them on Wed nights. My husband bought around $35.00 worth. I swear, girl scouts make most of their money off my husband. We also saw them selling in front of Wal-Mart and two different grocery stores. (and yep, we bought more then as well) I know we are in Arizona and they are selling them right now, I don't know about your area. I would just keep my eyes out, you could probably even call a local middle or elementary school and see if they have any information on the girl scouts, then you could go from there. Good luck and I hope you get the cookies you want.

These ambitious youngsters have been around for a very long time. I believe it was in the 20's when they started selling cookies. My father worked for the Burry Biscuit company who made many of the cookies. We used to get cases of them. I liked the shortbread cookies best but the best seller always seemed to be the thin mints. Dad loved them as did most of the people who worked for Mr. Burry.

Girl Scouts are selling right now. If you dont know a Girl Scout call your local Girl Scout Organization and you can order some from them-they can tell you where girls will be selling at stores and such.

I think you just missed them...ours here in the Midwest were all done this week...they were selling January thru Feb 20th...we're supposed to get the orders next week. call your local girl scouts chapter...but I would do it fast...they go fast. Also, your local elementary school will have a number for a troop leader...I like to make sure I order through a girl scout so she gets credit for it.

You already missed ordering them, but in March and April Girl Scout troops start selling them outside of grocery stores, bank, etc.

I live in Chicago, IL and my coworker sells them every year at the same time for her niece. She "pre-orders" the cookies in late December-early January, but they don't arrive until about the middle of February.

I live in NY and my girls are done taking orders. Cookies will be delivered the 2 week in March. Other parts of the country may be different.
