surgery recovery time

This is in reference to minor back surgery to remove a tumor. I had surgery, then was told that I needed to have another surgery to remove more tumor cells. I was told that it was better to have another surgery sooner than later and personally I still feel sore from the first surgery. What do you think?

Ideally a few months break, but the body can tolerate it more often (if in emergency circumstances)

That all depends on the type of surgery, how your body handled the first surgery, the reason for additional surgeries, and many other things. I had two neck surgeries within a year of eachother, the doc had concerns being they were close together. My brother on the other hand, was in a motorcycle accident and had five surgeries within a month of each other, the last one he could not have anesthisia, they simply numbed him from the waist down, while they chipped bone from his hips and used a power saw on his leg, he said he would never want to view his surgery again, it was very stressful, he said.
