I think America is the only country that still hates on the basis of color and race. Every other country, though slow in economics and technology, has learned to appreciate everybody. Maybe they do hate and have segregation on the basis of economics or social class but I doubt it has anything to do with color or facial features. I don't hate anybody because of their color because everyone is unique.

You apparently don't know much about world issues. Ever heard of apartheid? And it's not just whites. There are a lot of other "colors" here that are every bit as racist and more. Of course they often use the excuse that they've been oppressed and somehow they're entitled. Here's the facts; There was never a member of my family who owned a slave, but yet, I get lumped in with every other white because a relatively few whites owned some slaves more than 144 years ago. For at least a half century there hasn't been a person alive in this country who ever owned a slave. Same goes for anyone who ever was a slave. So you tell me who's racist. And remember...a lot of good white men lost their lives so that a lot of good black people didn't have to be slaves anymore.
And regarding Robbie Love's statement below - "The governement owes women and people of color an advantage to obtainng employment for the many years these people were denied employment due to their race and or gender." This is a load of horse crap!! A person is entitled to nothing more than to work for what they get. The mentality of entitlement is the biggest fuel there is to racism in this country. You want to get rid of racists? Get rid of those who always have their hands out, thinking that they're entitled!

I appreciate your point of view but when you phrase your argument in such a fashion "Some white Americans" it becomes an easy target for irrelevant retort.

The point I believe you are making is that America still appears to be run a white majority, that they appear to support unofficial segregation within their own country and they have a rather Xenophobic attitude toward other nations.

I do agree that everyone is unique in a fashion but many are indoctrinated into thinking alike. Some of this brainwashing is done more subtley than others but that is beside the point.

I think the whole Black candidate Female candidate scenario is hilarious. The simple thought that a former presidents son or wife etc woould also be suitable to be President is so improbable.... well it's as if it was written by a Hollywood script writer.

To return to the point it signifies that America has a consumer culture driven by corporations through the media. The wealth of choices thrown in peoples faces through advertisement conveniently keeping people distracted from any really significant issue. In other words they do not question or challenge their governments anymore they simply consume and pat taxes.

not all white people are racist. a lot of hispanic and black people are racist too. it depends on who the person is. ur question is racist b/c ur talking about white people in a whole, whereas it was just one person, and not all white people are racist. Before u call others racist, think about if the way u r saying it is racist. Americans are actually extremely non-racist, if u ask me. U should go to some places in europe, then u can say racist and yes, that was very racist, no excuses, b.c the other lady didnt get to give excuses either

Last time I checked the American government had no established policy on who it's citizens should hate, could hate or must hate.
That kind of thinking is left up to the individual in America.
No matter what color the individual is red, yellow, black or white.
Each individual in America makes the choice to accept whatever, whoever, whenever and form their own opinions about everything and anything at anytime.
We are a free country with people of every color who are:

Free to hate whoever, whenever, wherever.
Free to love whoever,whenever, wherever.
Does your country or skin color dictate your beliefs? That would totally stink.

You aren't serious are you?

America is the only country that still hates based on race? The only countries that have no racism are countries where every single person is the same race.

As for your original question, there is no good explanation for anyone being racist. White Americans aren't the only ones though.

In America the government plays into racism. The politicians make policy's that are racist against white people,For example affirmative action. The best person should get hired regardless of race.In America the government passed laws that required companies to hire less qualified people based on race and gender alone, this is wrong, and feeds racism.Without these programs race would be less of an issue in our country.

I'm white and this is totally BS
because my job I find myself
to deal with group of latino or black people
when this people see a white person
they right aways prejudge like a potential racist
and that really hurt me because It's not who I am

I feel very uncomfortable to deal with this people
cause they have the arrogance to accuse you
before they learn anything about your personality

my personal experience latino and black people
are very racist against white and especially latino.

My vote for most ignorant question, from a person that clearly knows nothing about the rest of the world. Have you ever heard of Iraq dude? In Iraq they kill each other with total hatred due to you have a different last name. Most other countries are pretty much one race, so that is usually not an issue, they still find plenty of other reasons to have civil wars and other ****. Some of that of course has been the fault of Russia, USA and other super powers that constantly interfer in other countries for economic and religious purposes.

Guess you didn't realize that the guy who almost won the presidency in France wants to kick out all of the Muslims or that the Dutch have made it illegal to migrate to there country period. Actually most of Europe is torn between wether or not to allow Muslims to move in.

And the reason for this, Muslims won't let people who are not Muslim move into many of the neigborhoos they live in. They won't sell to non-Muslims. Then they implement radical rules, which pass because everyone in the area is of the same religion. They even have areas in France where they won't let the police go.

And lets not forget about Mexico and there bouts of dislike for there poorer southern border neighbors. They shoot them for illegaly crossing and are quite disliking of them. Kind of hypocritical of them to scream and shout at us about our policies when their policies are something out of the 1800's.

What about Niger. Kidnappings are going wild right now. Some countries are telling there citizens to get out of the country because they are not safe. All across Africa there are stories of this tribe killing that tribe, whites vs. blacks.

Every country in the world has racism. You just hear about it more here becuase everyone has to pick someone to hate and guess what, America is it.
