How would you explain why the world was fighting each other to prove the way they worshiped him was the right way

I would ask him why he was wasting his time with me and not getting to grips with the real problems.

Religious people will say that God gave us free will and it's our flawed human nature that causes wars and not Him. But, when it suits, they also say that God lets awful things happen to good people because He has some great plan in mind and we just have to have faith. It doesn't add up at all so good luck on finding the definitive answer because you won't.

The fighting you mention is usually more about politics than religion. Sunnis and Shiites are fighting over power more than religion. When Catholics were slaughtering Protestants and Protestants slaughtering Catholics it was also about politics.

i wouldnt. religion is far to personal to try and justify why these morons think they can blame god for their madness.just as santa cant be everywhere, neither can god.

I would tell Him what He already knows:

That anyone killing in His name is not a true believer and deserves to burn in Hell for their actions.
