This is called Answers, which are what you get when you ask questions. We're not being rude, it's just that you didn't ask a question. You just publicized some band we'll never otherwise hear of.

If you asked questions, people would change their tone.

Example question: "What does an ice cold bottle of Colt 45 taste like, Billy Dee?"

Example answer: "Mmm. Smooth."

Some people do not know they are rude. I call it a lack of knowledge. You can't do better if you don't know better. If ones environment accepts this type of mentality then it is not considered rude.

In Illinois we are very rude. I remember the first time I went to NY I was told they were rude. No we are slower than they are and we may slag but rude Illinoisans have to a science.

For example we were in the restaurant and he said it was a 45 minute wait. My friend said but the people aren't eating make them leave so paying people can sit down and eat. His response is that would be rude they paid and ate and are now talking. She got mad and we left because she refused to wait. So it depends what end one is on receiving or giving.

There are rude people anywhere, so also on Yahoo Anwers. Probably you'll see some more rudeness online 'cause people are pretty anonymous here and many people who wouldn't dare being rude in real life don't have a problem with it on the internet. But there are also lots of nice people, just read their stuff and ignore the rude ones.

Im really upset about this too. Yesterday I posted a question asking if I should invite my baby's day care worker to her first birthday party. I received some nice answers, but then this girl Violet Pearl replied by saying: wow, you have a child under one in day care? Im floored. Yes you should invite her because she probably knows her substitute parent better than you. How incredibly rude is that? Like I dont already feel guilty about having my child cared for by someone other than myself? Like I have a choice, I have to be able to feed the kid right? I dont know why people are so rude, but I hate it.

It's because of the anonymity on here. If this were real life the biggest jerks on here would probably be the biggest losers and not have the nerve to say the things that they do to your face.

Trust me babe, the rudest ones are probably big losers with no self esteem who take it out on other people to try and make themselves feel better, while they hide behind their computer screen and type things that they dont have the nerve to say in person. ;)

I agree with you people in this site are rude. They feel since the person who asked the question cant answer back to the answers they can write whatever they want...people lack respect but in due time they will learn.... Dont even stress it dear.

Well...regardless of how awesome your uncle's band may be...this is a question and answer forum...I looked at your posting and it was pretty much neither. As for the rst of it...there's plenty of that going around, no matter what the question is. Plenty of haters out there.

Okay, look. What you pretended was a question wasn't a question.

A question is a thing that should have a question mark at the end. What you said needed "Warning: Advertisement" at the beginning.

Hallie.....you're setting yourself up for some more rude remarks. When you ask something like this, it just invites people to comment in a way that you wouldn't like. You seem way too sensitive so, I'll cut you some slack and not do it myself.
To answer your question....anonymity. People don't have to be afraid of repercussions.
