i dont know if its just my pc but im having a hard time scrolling down a page on e-books that contain many images

Yes, don't use adobe reader! This software is bloated and slow. Try a free alternative like foxit.

there is no speed reading software but there is a trick to use speed reading on pdf

goto your chrome browser

add pdf.js to chrome

then add sprintreader

and enjoy speed reading

Your PDF software is downloading the images as you look at the pages, the only thing that would help would be to get a faster Internet connection, but I would really just deal with it.

Yes. You should first remove the plugins you don't use.

To do this, open up Windows Explorer and browse to your Adobe Reader plug_ins folder. For example mine is located here:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Acrobat\plug_ins

Now create a folder in there called "optional"
so you should have a folder called:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Acrobat\plug_ins\optional

Now take everything in your C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\Acrobat\plug_ins folder and MOVE it to the newly created "optional" folder except the following 3 files:

EWH32.api
printme.api
Search.api

Make sure to leave the above files in your plug_ins directory.

Also it may help to increase your RAM.
