--It is boring; Is an enemy; & will not always have a hold on people!

--It is indeed expected even though most do not invite it!

--Most people have a trembling fear of premature death. and the Bible states that is why Satan can control most of mankind to do things inadvertly.. Please Note::

(Hebrews 2:14-15) “14 Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil; 15 and [that] he might emancipate all those who for fear of death were subject to slavery all through their lives.”

--The reference above shows Christs role in someday eradicating death because of the ransome he paid.
--The Adamic death that we inherited from Adam & Eve , can indeed be eradicated--not by going to heaven , but its vice being released. Note what is stated about its end:--
--By means of the Kingdom we pray for in the Lord's Prayer please note its workings:

(1 Corinthians 15:24-26) “24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.”

Death is my absolutely favorite character in the Terry Pratchett novels.

It is a fact that although the Death of the Discworld is, in his own words, an ANTHROPOMORPHIC PERSONIFICATION, he long ago gave up using the traditional skeletal horses, because of the bother of having to stop all the time to wire bits back on.
-- (Terry Pratchett, Mort)

I HOPE WE ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE ANY OF THIS 'FOUL FIEND' BUSINESS AGAIN.
-- Death gets summoned by the college council (Terry Pratchett, Eric)

- I USHERED SOULS INTO THE NEXT WORLD. I WAS THE GRAVE OF ALL HOPE. I WAS THE ULTIMATE REALITY. I WAS THE ASSASSIN AGAINST WHOM NO LOCK WOULD HOLD.
- "Yes, point taken, but do you have any particular skills?"
-- Death consults a job broker (Terry Pratchett, Mort

On a more serious note:

To fear death is nothing other than to think oneself wise when one is not. For it is to think one knows what one does not know. No one knows whether death may not even turn out to be the greatest blessings of human beings. And yet people fear it as if they knew for certain it is the greatest evil.

In inevitable, and feared by many. The interesting thing about Religion is that it offers a life after death.

But death... I'm not too scared unless it were to come to me at such a young age. When I die, I will only be giving back to the earth as nutrients to a beautiful tree, or a field of flowers :D

Up until a few months ago I was afraid and didn't want to die. I'm not afraid of it anymore but I am scared of pain! I look at it as a one time thing that we have to go through to get to the after life. If we are saved, to go to the after life is a good thing and it is like a trillion times better than staying on earth in an old rotting body.

Death is the result of man's sin and is not a natural part of life.

It is a certainty for what has been born...it is pointless to worry about or fear a certainty.

In my perverse, morbid opinion, death is freedom from life. It ends our suffering here on Earth, and brings us to our fate and destiny with either God or Satan, depending on your religious orientation. I am Christian, and eagerly await meeting the Creator.

Death will always be around as long as there is eternity, and infinity.
He always gets what he wants.
