Can Muslim women and Hasidic jewish wear bikinis at the beach?

if not what do they wear. dont they get hot wearing all those clothes?

Depending on the level of the observance of the Muslim woman, no. The Hasidic woman would not where a bikini.

r u being sarcastic?!! they do wear bikinis, if they r not covered , I used to wear it before i put my hejab on , and you know what no I feel much cooler on the beach I don't feel hot at all , when i used to wear the bikini i felt the heat very bad ...the only thing that bother me people are staring at me instead staring to other women with bikinis....( i wear a normal trousers with long t.shirt or blouse and scarf ) normal cloths...very strange that a simple scarf can make people change their mind about you...and look at you from a different angle?!! is that the freedom people talk about today? if i am naked and drunk that will be normal to people but covered not normal?!!let me ask you a question do you love your wife? if you r married or have a gf is it ok for other guys to look at her body ..would that give you satisfaction?!!! do u like other guys share her with you?!! don't you have in the bible that a glance or looking at women considered a sin ...even this you are changing....give us a break and leave us alone we did not complain ....I wear hejab for god not for my husband or any one ...the Muslim women wear the hejab because god knows what he created and he knows people like you and the rest will not stop staring at women....it harms you to have some women you cant see with bikinis aren't you...we have special places very nice place actually we can go and wear what ever we want and swim its not complicated plus my husband takes my often in far places with his car so we can enjoy swiming togathe and the kids ...we are normal people we drink we eat and feel the pain exactly like you ....HAPPY!!!

p.s in modern countries like ours we have swiming suites like the diving suites made specialy for muslim women to swim

I think the reason for the long dark clothing pertains to the beach too.......it is considered immoral to show even the face in many sects so bikinis are out of the question and i don't think they hang out much at the beach...

Not conservative Muslim women. I have gone to the beach with women in Muslim countries, and they went into the water fully covered, but they changed their clothes when we got out.

No, and nobody else should either unless they would go grocery shopping in their underwear too. They can wear standard swimwear if there are only women present, but most would still feel uncomfortably naked in it. (I know I would!) Recently, older styles have been reinvented with modern fabrics for modest swimwear. I may check those out when I enroll my children for swimming lessons this spring.

The muslim women cannot swim in the same area as the muslim men in the middle east they are seperated. But in the USA its different.

There was an article recently on the AP that referenced a group of Islamic life guards in Australia. The one female life guard wore something called a bhurkini.

Muslim women don't dress like tramps. We dress modestly and don't show our bodies off to strange men. We wear abaya, and hijab. No it keeps us cool.
