I believe everyone gets a 2nd chance, but no your not wrong for what you did. Your heart is telling you it's time that you move on, you both grew apart from each other it's normal. You still have that choice of trying to work things out is he really worth working things out or no? If you know him so well try to give it a chance.

Why would it matter , You have already decided to dump this guy. I don't think that you are wrong to do so if you have no feelings for him anymore. But I would consider his feeling as well and at least explain your way of thinking so he may better understand why he is no longer worth it to you. I hat e to see a relationship thrown away unless there is a good reason. (Not just another person)

Now you know you have tried several times to make the relationship work, and it hasn't. So why keep putting energy and time, into something that is doomed. So tell him that you wish him all the best, and that you hope that one day that, both of you will find some one, who will make us happy! Tell him that you wish him well!

You seem right to me. If nothing changes and you're not happy, move on. Life's too short.

No. He's just a familiar face, not a man you desire.
You want bigger challenges, so go get some.
