Indo = "India"

"Indochina" = the area south of China, between India and China.

"Indo-European" = describing languages that originated in the Near East, like Turkey, and were the predecessors to modern European and Indian languages.

"Shallow" basically means that you judge people on their appearance rather than their personality and feelings. Example: Bob: "I'm only friends with her because she's hot." John: "You're so shallow."
