There would have been questioning and possibly an arrest, but no conviction or prosectution because they had a reasonable fear of their physical safety and the man was defending himself and others against deadly force (knives and guns). The people may sue, but it would get thrown out of court because of the self defense issue. You are legally allowed to return deadly force with deadly force. You are not allowed to use deadly force against non-deadly force or to protect property (that's the basis of most of the lawsuits you hear about - escalation of non-deadly force to deadly force and use of deadly force to protect property - both not permitted under the self-defense excuse).

Just wait... the family of that thug will find a shyster in The US and will sue the ex marine.... I just read three different accounts of that... none had the same details... this also is s good example of how the different news reports skew the news to fit their agenda... in the US the fanatic liberal extremists would be crying for the blood of the tourists

They most likely would not have been arrested but definitely would have been sued by the perps family.

Nope. It was self defense. Who says seniors are too old & frail to take care of themselves?

Here they would have been charged and then sued by the family of the guy who was killed.
