Research shows that men are more turned on than women to have sex with a virgin but why?

I think we are secretly afraid of women and want someone of little or no experience, that way we can pretend to be great lovers. There was an old myth in the dark ages that as women produced children, the later children were of less quality, so the virgins would produce the best quality children. But that has been shown wrong for many years, but the false concepts still apply.

Because virgin men are inexperienced and awkward the first time they have sex. They also tend to orgasm much too fast the first time. Men like virginal women because the inner labia stretch or dilate a small amount after sexual intercourse and therefore a girl or woman who has not had sex before is quite "tight" and produces more friction or tactile stimulation of the penile shaft. It is for this very same reason that some men like to penatrate the anus or have "anal".

there are men that will turn down sex for the same reasons women will. there's self respect, respect for the woman in question, circumstances like if shes dated a friend or relative, countless reasons really just depends on the guy and the day. personally i am a guy and not really into meaningless sex much so ill turn women down just because i know i wont remember their names. not that it wouldn't be physically enough but because i have been there and played that game and decided it doesn't often end the way i want it to so better to just avoid it

I guess the whole idea that you are "breaking in" a woman... both figuratively and litterally. Women have a hymen that breaks when they first have intercourse so there that kind of "power" thing that someone else was describing. Plus there's that whole thing about a virgin being a little more "tight" down there. Her reactions (moans, signs of slight pain) may also make the guy feel like his packing a little more down there than he really is.

With male virgins, all you get is premature ejaculation. Big whoop.

Well i think guys like the fact that a virgin has never been touched by any other guy so it makes them feel really manly that this girl has chosen to have sex with them first. Also if the guy is really bad in bed then she wont have anything to compare it too because he is the first person she has slept with.
With women, well there is nothing worse than a guy who does not know his way around so we tend to stick to the more experienced men.

There's really know way to answer this without offending someone, but for the most part, guys like a clean slate, for me STD's would play a big role, if you haven't had sex, then there's a pretty good chance they don't have them. Also I know it's a thrill for some people to "break in a virgin" But to be fair, virgins can't compare a guy's performance, so if he sucks they'll never know until they're with someone else.

It has to do with performance anxiety, in part. For a man, sex is going to be good. There might be "better sex" and "worse sex," but it is very rare for a man not to climax and the hormones released durring climax make it so a guy can't help but enjoy himself. So very rarely are you going to find a girl that is concerned that her man isn't enjoying himself.

Women, on the other hand, can go their whole life never having an orgasm. Sex can be something they dread or loathe because they never enjoy it. A woman who has had sex and hated it can come into the bedroom expecting to hate it, and just flop herself on the bed and start counting ceiling tiles. The man is left to do all the work, and made to feel like he owes her something for her trouble. On the other hand, a woman who had a completely enjoyable sexual encounter in the past comes into he bedroom expecting this new guy to be the same type of sex-god. That's a lot of pressure! "Oh, I had sex once, and it was great! The things he did with his hands and his mouth... I was woosy. You can do all that, right?" My wife describes a guy who made all kinds of promises about how good he was in bed... then he was absolutely miserable once he got her home as her second sexual encounter. How much pressure does a guy need?

But a girl who has no experience... she's a clean slate. She doesn't know what to expect. She'll kind of do what she's told, since he's more experienced. And a submisive girl is almost by definition going to be a better lover to a man, since she'll do what he says, which will help him to enjoy himself.

On the other hand, all the things that make a man "better in bed" are things that come with experience. I only know one man who lasted more than ten minutes his first time in bed with a girl. A girl wants something longer to get warmed up and enjoy herself. A guy doesn't come with instinctive knowledge of where to touch a girl to make her feel good, but it doesn't take too much for him to figure out where he touches her to make himself feel good. The things that allow him to make a woman happy in bed come with time and practice, and sometimes correction.

So, basically, a guy likes the lack of pressure since he doesn't have to be compared to anyone else, but a girl doesn't have to worry about that too much anyway.

For the same reason men want to scale unclimbed mountains, explore remote jungles and discover new species of flora and fauna. Men want to go where no man has gone before! And if you can combine that with sex all the better.

Women prefer men with experience since it isn't as easy for some women to "get theirs." Men get a kick out of being the one that "popped that cherry." Why this is so, is just because that is what society has accepted as the norm.

Probably because they cant be crap! If that persons a virgin they dont know any better therefore gives the man a chance to think he's super stud for the night lol Dunno about it only being men but i wouldn mind a virgin either just for the experience of course it'd be nice to teach them a thing or two lol

Because women wants to be satisfied. A man with no experience would probably be painful for the women.

Men wants to think they're sex god. Why else would the virgin give it up?
